With over twenty of years of experience in the financial services industry, Michele Riordan has built her career on helping clients pursue address manage financial independence. A graduate of Towson University in Maryland, Michele earned her Bachelors degree in Economics. She applied her education to T. Rowe Price Associates in Baltimore, where she learned the fundamentals of investing, taxes and a range of retirement plans. Throughout her career, Michele has remained steadfastly focused on growing client relationships, providing the time and attention required to help identify and pursue address manage their most valued goals.
Later, working as a Portfolio Manager at a boutique money management firm in Annapolis, Maryland, she advised clients through the dot-com boom, guiding them through the tumultuous years of 2000-2002. These were critical years for her clientele, many of whom had recently retired and depended on Michele's experience and support. Along with the financial crisis of 2008, the early 2000s proved foundational for Michele in leading clients through periods of market volatility and uncertainty.
Founded in 2003, Riordan Investment Management, Inc. has been a mainstay of clients across 25 states. With LPL Financial as her broker-dealer, Michele offers clients the boundless support of the largest independent broker-dealer in the nation.* Originally opened in Annapolis, Maryland, Michele has since relocated the firm to Scottsdale, Arizona, in pursuit of warmer weather and the benefits of an outdoors lifestyle. A mother of two, she enjoys traveling from Arizona to Maryland during the holidays, visiting old and new clients along the way. Michele enjoys watching and coaching her children in sports, in addition to volunteering at their schools to help raise awareness for educational tax programs.
